About

I have completed Master of Design in 'Knitwear Design' from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), India. Prior to that I had completed Bachelor of Arts with Drawing & Painting (Honours) and English. I have keen interest in fine arts, design and writing. Currently I am pursuing Ph.D. (Design Area)

I worked in the Fashion and Apparel Industry in the field of Knitwear Design, Product Development, Apparel Design & Merchandising for eight years before I started teaching at Institute of Apparel Management as Asst. Professor in May 2008.

The subjects that I teach at IAM are:
- Knitwear Design
- Fashion Forecasting and Product Development
- Apparel Export Merchandising
- Drawing and Fashion Illustration
- Elements and Principles of Design
